Michael van Baalen

Hi, I'm Michael. I like computers and languages. I'm based in Columbus, Ohio.

Professionally, I currently work at CoverMyMeds on their Patient Services team. I do full-stack development on the internal software used to support our call centers.

Before CoverMyMeds, I was on the Watson team at IBM. I did test automation for multiple products that used the Watson technology, as well as the core Watson software itself.

I got my degree in Computer & Information Science and Linguistics from The Ohio State University.

I'm interested in every aspect of every gaming industry. From design to marketing, in video, board, and card games of all kinds. Catch me at a game jam!
